Análisis de las categorías de apego a los lugares rurales

Un lugar se comprende a partir de un espacio geográfico como resultado de la acción humana y que es responsable por moldear los comportamientos. Las conexiones que se forman en los lugares considerados especiales se denomina apego y acompañan a los individuos en todas las etapas de la vida. Los propietarios rurales constituyen un grupo que consideran su tierra como un lugar único. En ese sentido, el objetivo de este artículo es identificar las categorías de los vínculos afectivos que están presentes en la relación del individuo y el lugar rural. La metodología está basada en una revisión bibliográfica de once estudios publicados, cuyas bases son datos internacionales. Del análisis de los resultados surgieron seis categorías a partir de la confrontación teórica de la literatura con los hallazgos de los artículos analizados. Las categorías presentan vínculos establecidos entre los individuos-lugar rural: la categoría ambiente que comprende las características naturales y físicas; la categoría de comunidad que incluyen las relaciones con las personas; la categoría de arraigo está compuesta por los sentimientos que se despierta por el lugar; la categoría familiar integra la historia que se construye en el lugar; la categoría de rendimiento financiero está compuesta por los ingresos obtenidos en el lugar; y la categoría de la vida rural considera la atracción por el estilo de vida en el lugar. En efecto, estos resultados indican una importante agenda para las futuras investigaciones sobre el apego al lugar con el objetivo de demarcar un prometedor horizonte teórico-conceptual sobre el tema.
